Same-Day Blueprint Printing in Fort Myers
Submit print-ready files before noon on a business day and an eligible order (under 500 sheets) is normally ready for pickup that afternoon. Here is exactly how the cutoff works and what can move a job to the next day.
Same-day work is priced the same as any other order; no rush charge. A 12-sheet revision run, 24×36 bond, black & white, picked up this afternoon is $54.00 before tax.
What same-day means here
Printing Monday to Friday. Weekend pickup for completed orders.
Print-ready files received by 12 PM Eastern on a business day are normally ready that afternoon. Files in after noon are normally ready the next business day, and an order placed Friday afternoon or over the weekend is normally ready Monday. The quote shows an estimate for your order before you pay.
We text or email you when your order is ready; please wait for that message before coming in. Completed orders can be collected during store hours, including Saturday and Sunday, so a set finished on Friday can be picked up over the weekend. Weekend hours are for collection only: nothing prints or ships on Saturday or Sunday.
There is no rush charge and no expedite tier. Same-day work is priced the same as any other order, at the volume rate your sheet count earns. The one exception is orders of 500 sheets and up, which run 3–5 business days.
What makes a file print-ready
Most jobs that slip a day slip because of the file. Online orders take PDF only, exported at the sheet size you want printed. The recurring causes of delay:
- Mixed page sizes in one PDF. Every page in a file prints at the size selected for that file, so put 11×17 sheets in their own PDF if they need to stay 11×17.
- Drawings saved fit-to-page. If the source PDF was already scaled down, printing it at 24×36 will not restore true scale. Export again from the original at full sheet size.
- DWG or DXF files. We print from PDF. Plot to PDF from the CAD program at the sheet size with fonts and xrefs resolved. If all you have is the DWG, use Ask a question and we talk it through before anything prints.
- Password-protected or print-restricted PDFs. Common on drawings received from an engineer. The price page cannot open them and asks for a replacement, so you need an unrestricted, print-ready PDF before uploading; ask your designer or engineer for that export.
Exporting to PDF at full sheet size with fit-to-page off avoids nearly all of it.
Revision reprints
Single-sheet revisions are the fastest thing we do. Send the replacement sheet and tell us the sheet number it swaps out; revisions in by noon on a business day are normally ready the same day. If you want the whole set reprinted rather than one sheet swapped, say so, because the two cost very different amounts on a thirty-sheet set.

Files that are not print-ready are the usual cause: mixed page sizes in one PDF, a DWG instead of a PDF, drawings saved at the wrong scale, or password-protected files, which cannot be uploaded; ask your designer or engineer for an unrestricted, print-ready PDF. Very large sets submitted close to the cutoff can also roll over. We call you as soon as we see a problem rather than printing something you cannot use.
Can I get a revised sheet reprinted the same day?
Yes. Send the replacement sheet by noon on a business day and tell us which one it swaps out; it is normally ready the same day.
