What a submittal set needs

Across Lee County, the City of Fort Myers and Cape Coral, full construction drawings are generally expected at 24×36 ARCH D, printed at true scale, collated in sheet order. Civil site plans usually run larger at 36×48 ARCH E.

Requirements do change and each jurisdiction sets its own. Confirm the current submittal standard with the building department before you commit to printing a thirty-sheet set in triplicate. We will print whatever they ask for, but we cannot tell you what they will ask for this month.

Collated, in order, ready to hand over

Tell us how many copies of the set you need and they come back separated and in sheet order, folded or rolled. Structural, architectural, MEP and civil sheets stay grouped the way they appear in the file rather than shuffled by size.

Resubmittals and revised sheets

Plan review comes back with comments and two sheets change. Send the revised sheets, tell us which sheet numbers they replace, and we print just those. Swapping two sheets costs a fraction of reprinting the set, and on a same-day turnaround it is usually a couple of hours rather than an afternoon.

If the revision is substantial enough that the whole set should be reprinted, say so up front. We will quote both so you can see the difference before deciding.

Who this is for

General contractors pulling permits on new builds and tenant improvements, design-build firms handling their own submittals, engineers printing sealed sets, and owner-builders working through a residential permit for the first time. The last group gets the most questions answered, and that is fine.

Common questions

What size do Lee County permit submittals need to be?

24×36 ARCH D is the standard expectation for full construction drawings across Lee County, the City of Fort Myers and Cape Coral. Requirements change, so confirm the current submittal standard with the jurisdiction before you print a large set.

Do you collate multi-sheet plan sets?

Yes. Sets come back in sheet order and folded or rolled, whichever you ask for. Tell us how many copies of the set you need and we will keep them separated.

Can you print revised sheets to swap into an existing set?

Yes. Send the revised sheets and tell us which sheet numbers they replace. Single-sheet revisions are usually ready within a couple of hours.

Do you print civil site plans?

Yes. Civil drawings usually run at 36×48 ARCH E, which we print across the full roll width.
