We print the full ARCH A–E and ANSI A–E range on bond. Everything runs off the same square-foot rate, so there is no size that costs extra for being unusual. Prices below are per sheet at 1–24 sheets, standard coverage, before tax.
Black & white volume rates: 13% off at 25–99 sheets, 33% off at 100–249, 43% off at 250–499 and 50% off at 500+. Color has its own, smaller discounts: 11%, 23%, 33% and 40% across the same tiers. The tier is set by the total sheets on the order. The 24×36 ladder for both is on the home page.

Small sizes run on standard equipment rather than the wide-format rolls, but the rate is the same either way. Mixed-size orders are fine. Online, each PDF prints at the size you select for it, so put sheets that need a different size in their own PDF; every file still counts toward one volume tier. Half-size sets: 11×17 is half of ANSI D, not ARCH D
A true half-scale set halves both dimensions. 11×17 (ANSI B, tabloid) is exactly half of ANSI D (22×34): a 1/4" = 1'-0" drawing on it measures 1/8" = 1'-0". Half of ARCH D (24×36) is 12×18, which is ARCH B. 18×24 ARCH C has half the area of ARCH D but a different shape, so a 24×36 drawing on it is not a half-scale reduction. A 24×36 drawing printed on 11×17 is reduced by more than half and is a reference copy, not a half-scale set. For a true half-scale set of ARCH D drawings, print at ARCH B; for ANSI D drawings, print at ANSI B.
ARCH and ANSI are not interchangeable
ARCH sizes come from architectural drafting; ANSI sizes come from engineering drafting. ARCH D is 24×36 and ANSI D is 22×34, close enough that a set run through fit-to-page on the wrong size looks right and measures wrong. A drawing set at 1/4" = 1'-0" and printed 8% small is no use to an inspector with a scale rule.
We print each at its true dimensions. The quote shows your PDF's page size next to the size you choose, so an ANSI D drawing headed for an ARCH D sheet is visible before you pay.
How scale stays true
We print at the finished size you choose, with fit-to-page, shrink-to-fit and auto-rotate turned off. When your PDF pages are that size, the drawing prints at 100% and its scale bar measures true. If the source PDF looks exported at the wrong size when we open it, we contact you before the set runs.
Equipment
CAD drawings and blueprints run on a 36-inch roll printer, which covers everything through ARCH E at full width. Coated and presentation work runs on a 44-inch machine. Both are in the store at 15880 Summerlin Rd, which is why turnaround is measured in hours instead of transit days.
Common questions
What size is ARCH D?
ARCH D is 24 inches by 36 inches. It is the most common size for architectural, structural and MEP drawings and the default for most permit submittals in Southwest Florida.
What is the difference between ARCH and ANSI sizes?
ARCH sizes (ARCH A 9×12 through ARCH E 36×48) come from architectural drafting. ANSI sizes (ANSI A 8.5×11 through ANSI E 34×44) come from engineering drafting. ARCH D is 24×36 and ANSI D is 22×34, close enough that printing one on the other looks right and measures wrong. We print the full ARCH A–E and ANSI A–E range at true dimensions.
Is 11×17 a half-size set?
11×17 (ANSI B, tabloid) is exactly half of ANSI D, 22×34, in both dimensions, so an ANSI D drawing printed on it is at half scale. It is not half of ARCH D: half of 24×36 is 12×18, ARCH B. 18×24 ARCH C has half the area of ARCH D but a different shape and is not a half-scale reduction. A 24×36 drawing printed on 11×17 is a reduced reference copy and does not measure at half scale. For a true half-scale set of ARCH D drawings, print at ARCH B.
Will my scale bar measure correctly?
Yes, when the PDF page is the size you print it at: we print with fit-to-page turned off, so a drawing set at 1/4" = 1'-0" measures 1/4" on the sheet. If you print a PDF larger or smaller than its page size, the quote shows the enlargement, and the drawing will not measure at its original scale.
Can you print 36×48 ARCH E?
Yes. ARCH E prints across the full 36-inch roll width at 48 inches long. It is the standard choice for civil site plans and large commercial drawings. ANSI E at 34×44 fits the same roll with room to spare.
Do you print every ARCH and ANSI size?
Yes, ARCH A through ARCH E and ANSI A through ANSI E. All of them price off the same square-foot rate, so an unusual size costs no more than a common one of the same area.
